A sad statement I have heard often is “the world will be better off without me.”

This is unfortunate because one thing I have come to learn is that everyone is figuring it out as they go. Some are discovering their purpose and the path set before them. Some are running. Some are celebrating and some are rerouting. So, no, the world will not be better off without you. Every seemingly unremarkable moment to you is a part of your story and a sentence, a page, or a whole chapter in several stories. That lady you met who told you that your smile filled her eyes with tears, needed you to be right there. That child, that teacher, that random stranger, all needed you here. That idea or talent you have that you think is dumb could end up inspiring or changing the course of someone else's life. That wit about you could heal a soul who had forgotten how to laugh. We need you here.
